DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. He released his debut It's Hot in the year 1998 and Hell was Dark May 19, 1998. In the following years, he came out with several more albums like ... And then There was X, And Then There Was X, Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Blood Flesh. He was nominated in 2001 for a Grammy Award in the Best Rap Album Category. His album titled...And There was X. His career in music was enhanced by appearances in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
